Section Cutting Plane

(OP)
Hi,

Can anybody help me with the cutting plane problem.
How to edit or delete the cutting plane in a view once the section view is no more needed or deleted?

Thanks

RE: Section Cutting Plane

You should just be able to select the section line and delete it.

Please see FAQ731-376 for tips on how to make the best use of Eng-Tips Fora.

RE: Section Cutting Plane

Although, depending on your version (as I'm just finding out) sometimes the delete key does not work.  Try selecting the cutting plane line (section line) and using delete from the edit menu or the delete icon.

RE: Section Cutting Plane

Hallo, look on the select options (the first icon in the ribbon bar) and check, if there is the Active layer off. When is this checkbox on, you cant´t select entities in the active layer.
Hope this helps, bye

Hi,
Thanks for all suggestions..
I would like to know whether the cutting plane line or the letters and arrows can be configured or not. How about the detail view selection?

Thanks

RE: Section Cutting Plane

Everything is under Format-Style menu. You can select the style type of lines, dimensions, text, hatch.... and set it as you wish. Don´t forget to store settings in the template )
