RE: Cannot Format Drive C(Harddisk Drive)
Your message is very difficult to interpret in detail. I understand that you want to have both Windows ME and Windows 2000 on the same system. I assume that you have already established that both can reside on the same disk peacefully. I see that you need expert advice on computers because you don't know that you should not try to format the C drive through the resident OS. I'd advise you to carry the system to a computer shop and explain them what you want and let them do it for you. This is the easiest, cheapest and surest way of getting what you want.
Good luck,

RE: Cannot Format Drive C(Harddisk Drive)
If using the FORMAT command after booting from the CD fails you may need to use a low-level utility such as FDISK to remove the original partition from the hard drive and create a new one. The FORMAT command may then be used to format the hard drive.
I most strongly recommend that you DO NOT use the low-level format utility built into the motherboard bios because should the bios not unlock the drive properly to low-level format it the servo guide tracks and defective cluster remapping table may be corrupted or destroyed rendering the hard drive unreliable at best or totally useless at worst (requiring manufacturer recalibration).
