inelastic analysis and design of high-rise buildings

(OP)
dear friends,
any info on how to analyze and design high-rise rc buildings using the inelastic method (for the severe earthquake condition)? who's the expert on this? any references? applications using high-strength concrete would be highly appreciated. thanks!

RE: inelastic analysis and design of high-rise buildings

There has been being a number of programs for doing these things. The ACI book SP-127

Earthquake Resistant Concrete Structures, Inelastic response and design, S.K. Ghosh, ACI, 1991 is quite aged yet already lists significant numbers of programs already doing that...and that you can't help them predict the behaviour.

Those listed are still major players in the field: Adina, DRAIN, CSI's programs, STAAD.
