Ghost in the machine

Ghost in the machine

(OP)
Has anyone else noticed that some posts just dissapear? I can think of at least three cases and it is not for content.  Recently I clicked on a thread that had six replies and that I had previously posted in.  I was popped back into the message list and that thread has never appeared again.  Well, I am getting old and may be getting lost in the Foggy Time Warp being forever screwed to oblivion.

Yes I have.

RE: Ghost in the machine

Sometimes the things that cause a thread to be red-flagged and removed are not obvious.

There are some policies somewhere that talk about guidance for flagging.

I have heard of threads being flagged/removed for the following:
- post by a student
- post by a non-engineering-professional
- posted on the wrong forum
- too basic of a question
- of course obnocious behavior gets a thread or post flagged as well.
etc

Red Flag This Post
