Sheet Format copy

Sheet Format copy

(OP)
Is there any quick way to copy all data ( customer name, drawing name, material etc) into next sheet after you add it?
We use sometimes multiple sheets and I manually retype all the data.
Thank you.

RE: Sheet Format copy

I do this by creating a sheet with the relevant data, then go to the file pull-down menu and select Save Sheet Format.
Save it as a convenient name (I use current D size as the name). When you add a sheet use this file as your current template. Then just use edit sheet to change any data that needs changing.

RE: Sheet Format copy

Use custom properties and enter the data in the part/assembly file.  Set up your drawing templates to use these custom properties to create the notes where you want them.  You only enter the data once and if you update the properties all of the sheets will update accordingly.
