does anyone know of, or have seen, a wood floor beam to steel girder connection? if so, how was it done? i am interested in using this for a research project.. thanks

RE: wood connection

What we do is use 2x8's or something as filler block and through bolt it to the web so it just sticks out past the flanges.  Then hang the wood beam with a Simpsons hanger
