Water Mist application for large area

Water Mist application for large area

Water Mist application for large area

(OP)
Dear friends,
my problem is to protect some cable cellar with a Deluge Water Mist System.
The largest area to be covered by a system is 26m x 66m x 4m h whitout any fire partition (at this stage).
I would like receive some recommended solution for fire detection and extinguishing application to solve this matter.
Moreover in the plant is available an internal Firewater system operating @175 psi and an internal compressed air system.
Thank you.

RE: Water Mist application for large area

Detection:
Intellegent Laser type very early warning or air sampling

Most developed Mist Systems for this app:

Fogtec
Hi-Fog
Sercuriplex

The first 2 are high pressure systems with their own pumps, Securiplex uses compressed gas to shear the water droplets.  No one else in North America is currently ahead of these 3 systems as far as testing.  All produce a very fine mist.

Mist does not conduct any significant amount of electricity, Fogtec have test sheets for it.  Of course once it accumulates it could.  Fogtec have also done a pile of cable testing with/for ? VDS in Germany.  The other companies may have as well but I don't know their story as well.
