Dynamic loads

Dynamic loads

Dynamic loads

(OP)
Is it possible to define loads af a function of the deformation of the model? In my case I need to model gyroscopic loads of the propeller on the enginemount.
The loads are dependent of the angular velocity of the deformation, and are directed in a 90 deg. phase to the deformation.

RE: Dynamic loads

I think it is possible, but not in every system! Which FE system do you use?

RE: Dynamic loads

In Abaqus you can use a user defined subroutine to define the loads if you want. This would allow you to vary the loads with some other parameter. Other FE codes I don't know.

I use Nastran/Patran
