Open file problem with A2K running on W2K

Open file problem with A2K running on W2K

(OP)
I've just recently switched machine from one running Windows 98 SE to Windows 2000 Pro.

My copy of AutoCAD 2000 ran perfectly after the upgrade except for 1 problem. When I try opening a file from the network, AutoCAD seems to freeze for about 30 - 50 seconds before displaying the full list of files found. It doesn't happen when I try to load a file off my local drive, just the network.

Does anyone know what to do? (other than going back to my older machine)

RE: Open file problem with A2K running on W2K

Sounds like the hub speed was set to a lower setting, check your network.
