Hazardous Areas for Fuel Gas Supplies

Hazardous Areas for Fuel Gas Supplies

(OP)
IP15 is a significant reference used for estimation of hazardous areas from hydrocarbon releases. However such references tend to be coy about their application to the fuel gas lines to fired heaters and gas enginer drivers.

There seems to be a lot of "do it thiss way and your safe" type statements without a detailed explanation of why this is "safe" and another design may not be.

Has anyone got a definitive reference they can pass on to me?
