Looking For Modeled Electrical Components

Looking For Modeled Electrical Components

Looking For Modeled Electrical Components

(OP)
using SolidWorks 2003;

I would like to know if any one has already modeled the following components;

Elma Electronic Case: part# 15A05444-30

Eaton Toggle Switch: part# 8530K2

Electroswitch Rotary Switch: part# D4G0111N

Scott Edwards Electronics Display Panel: part # G12864

I Can't find these parts.

Any response will be greatly appreciated!

I tried that website. It does not have any of these components.

RE: Looking For Modeled Electrical Components

My experience with electronics part files is mixed.  More often than not, models made from measuring actual parts were more accurate than those provided by vendors.  This was especially true for displays.

I may make you feel, but I can't make you think.

RE: Looking For Modeled Electrical Components

I Agree with The Tick, and will add that due to the millions and millions of different electronic parts and vendors available, you are going to find it very hard to find specific models you are looking for.

RE: Looking For Modeled Electrical Components

I concurr with Thetick and MadMango, plus someone else's idea of a good model will probably not be yours. Eg: do you want the switch to move? That would make it an assembly. We don't - you might. Do you want pretty colors, or all one? etc, etc,.  How accurate do you want it? (and are you willing to thoroughly check what you are given? - it might bite you later).

I seriously suggest you save time overall and make your own.
