Materials Library Addition?

Materials Library Addition?

Materials Library Addition?

(OP)
Is there anyplace to add material properties to the default materials library in UGNX?

Is there a place to download additional material properties to the library?

RE: Materials Library Addition?

I believe the library in NX is licensed from MSC.

This question would be better asked on the internal UG BBS where people in UG development can and will answer.

If you only want the part density and not the full range of material characteristics, I have a GRIP program that will set material density.

Ben,

I might be interested in the GRIP program you have.  We need to add different types of jet fuel to our database.

When I add a new material to our database, does it stay there permanently (with the user) or does it only stay with the specific part it was created in?

Thanks,

Grant
