Lost macros: do you have a copy?

Lost macros: do you have a copy?

Lost macros: do you have a copy?

(OP)
I just returned from vacation to find that my workstation has been upgraded to Win2K.  Some of my best macros have disappeared without backup.

If anybody has any copies of macros I've written that I sent to you, please send a copy to roland.schwarz@erwagner.com

Thanks

I may make you feel, but I can't make you think.

RE: Lost macros: do you have a copy?

Are you looking for any specific type of macros...

I have made quite a few myself, if you can't locate any of your previous ones...

RE: Lost macros: do you have a copy?

Mostly I'm trying to recover my old code for reference purposes.  The new replacements I'll end up writing if I don't recover will definitely be enhanced by the things I've learned here.

Then again, anything I don't have to rewrite....

files of greatest interest:
Assembly Density Manager
CopyCustomInfoFromSelected

I may make you feel, but I can't make you think.

RE: Lost macros: do you have a copy?

I think I have an assembly density manager you can modify to what you need...

It traverses the assembly and extracts the individual Mass, Volume and density from each component in the assembly...

Right now it is set to output to the screen or a file.

But can easily be modified...

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks,

We were on NT4.0.  When we got our new workstations last year, they all came with XP.  Our IT guys feared Win2K and XP and stuck with NT way past its prime.

I may make you feel, but I can't make you think.

RE: Lost macros: do you have a copy?

well, officially, doesnt NT4 have *one day* left till MS puts it out to pasture?

RE: Lost macros: do you have a copy?

Yes, and if you read the SW Customer Bulletins you would read that SW still supports Win NT, but they can't guarantee future SP for Win NT. So it's better that everyone that is running Win NT to upgrade to Win2k or XP Pro now.

RE: Lost macros: do you have a copy?

They just switched my PC to XP from NT4.0 about 2 weeks ago...

I think a lot of companies were paranoid about the relese of 2K and XP until recently...

I guess it is the age old theory of... "If it works now... Why Change it?"

Personally, I prefer XP Pro over NT4 any day...

RE: Lost macros: do you have a copy?

hi guys
it takes only a few days to get Accustomed to xp
personally i feel that xp is a very good product
