need advice on stuctual setting up a double wide

(OP)
is it possible to set a double wide on a full basement and taking out the steel beams off the house what would the best choice be as to support the center of the house . should i use i beams or can i install a center support out of lumber with support poles need help on this without it costing me a fortune thanks

RE: need advice on stuctual setting up a double wide

Typically trailers use double beams running with its length,  supporting purlins.  These beams are usually supported with concrete block at regular spacing.  The blocks can be replaced with beams running perpendicular to the beams at the same spacing.  If the trailer is new the manufacture can provide you with the design, if not, hire an engineer to help u with the design.
