I have a MACRO I would like to have available always when I open excel for new and old files, can anyone help me teaching how to do it.

Thankyou

RE: A MACRO alway available in excel

One way is to save a blank workbook with the macro in it as a .xla file (save as function) Then open up Excel and use tools-add ins-browse to locate and activate the .xla file as an add-in - close excel. Will always be available for reference by any workbook as long as the add-in is selected.

RE: A MACRO alway available in excel

Look in your XLSTART folder, add your macro to the spreadsheet there.
