meas zinc coating on wires

(OP)
Has anyone seen/heard of some sensor to meas the coating thinkness on a continous wire galvanizer line. I just need some sort of sensor i am sure i can work out the instrumentation to collect the information.I think it would be similar to a lvdt with a ref coil and a coil after the coating has been applied. The problem is it is on a continous line @ 150 DV.

i had worked with a galvanising plant, there the measurement of zinc coating thickness was done by using density measurement system(nucleonic type)
