Unigraphics Assemly Mirror - How To

(OP)
I am modeling half of an aircraft with its various parts in an assembly with UG NX.  How do I get an associative mirror of these components(ie: wing, fuse, tail, engines)?

Thanks,

Chad Richardson

RE: Unigraphics Assemly Mirror - How To

Hi Richard ,

In Assemblies go to Wave Geometry Linker
a dialog box appears in it select mirror body ,
It will create an associated copy of assemblies.

Thanx,

Is it possible have the display properties of the original components applied to the mirrored components?

Do you mean display features? Then no, you must open the original "parent" of the WAVE linked part, and edit them there.

hi dear friend
you could not till ug18
in nx
i do not know

bye

RE: Unigraphics Assemly Mirror - How To

In NX2 you'll find a handy Mirror Assembly assistant. Mirroring an entire aircraft may be a bit much for the first release, but I'm sure EDS would appreciate any feedback you can give them.

Cheers,
