LDT3 distorts 2000i dwg, why?

LDT3 distorts 2000i dwg, why?

(OP)
In Autodesk Land Desktop 3 I opened a simple drawing created in ACAD Map 2000i but it is skewed - it is squeezed vertically - more narrow. This shows up on the image in Modelspace but not in Paperspace, so I had to re-layout in paperspace as the viewport was not centered on the layout, which was also narrower. Does anyone know why this is? It must be a simple thing but I haven't used LDT3 yet till now.
Thanks,
a1jan

RE: LDT3 distorts 2000i dwg, why?

It sounds like maybe someone saved the drawing after changing the planview with the 3d orbit function.  Try typing PLAN and the WORLD to get it back to the right view.
