ME version of "human body's CV system"

ME version of "human body's CV system"

(OP)
Has anyone constructed "on paper?" a simulation of the human body CV as a mechanical system.
ie. parallel/series piping system using
heart=pump
liver= filter
veins/arteries=pipes etc.

RE: ME version of "human body's CV system"

Good thought. Many creative developments have come from consideration and analysis of the body, human or otherwise. Perhaps the bio-med types have done this in their thesis projects.

Many years ago an engineer modeled a business economic system as a mechanical fluid flow system. It was published in an engineering magazine. I wish I could recover it somehow.
