Good Review Books for Industrial PE Exam

Good Review Books for Industrial PE Exam

Good Review Books for Industrial PE Exam

(OP)
Can anyone recommend books they found to be very useful in studying for and taking the Industrial PE exam?

Thanks!

RE: Good Review Books for Industrial PE Exam

These are the ones I used, a very long time ago:

Engineering Fundamentals - Newnan & Larock (EIT exam)
Mechanical Engineering License Review - Pefley & Newnan
Mechanical Engineering Review Manual - Lindeburg
Professional Engineering Examinations Vols 1&2 - NCEE

I'll give you a tip - I don't know if it's still relevant:
If you take a combined exam - (Covers electrical, mechanical, chemical, civil) - that means there are a lot of fluid mechanics questions to choose from - so study that especially.

But things could have changed since then.

RE: Good Review Books for Industrial PE Exam

I benefited from attending a refresher course for the PE. The instructor was an old PE hand, and the class had various specialties represented. Everybody had their short cuts. I had some, too. I recommend this highly.
