HP Line Merge ACAD2000

HP Line Merge ACAD2000

HP Line Merge ACAD2000

(OP)
ACAD14 had HPCONFIG command that let you set the
plotted lines to either overlap, or merge..

I can't find any info anywhere on how to change this
in ACAD 2000, right now my shades and lines are overlapping
and covering each other on plots, and I want them to merge.

hellllpppp...

thanks

Dan

RE: HP Line Merge ACAD2000

Use the plot command and select the HP plotter that you want to use. Select Properties, then double-click on Graphics. Select the third option (Merge Control) and make sure the Lines Merge option is selected. You'll then be asked if you want to apply changes to the current plot only or save the changes to a .pc3 file.

RE: HP Line Merge ACAD2000

he is right but that only works on 2000i products for acad 2000 you need to use the HPSETUP.exe file located in c:\Program Files\AutoCAD2000\
run this while your in autocad and it will have settings for  the merge lines.

RE: HP Line Merge ACAD2000

You can also use Custom Properties to control color merging and line overwrite in Autocad 2000.

RE: HP Line Merge ACAD2000

Again this is what has happend
Autocad 2000 to do lines merge you have to go and use the HPSETUP.EXE this is the only way i have seen IN 2000
now in Autocad 2000i (which is a different version)Autodesk instead of having this seperate basically intergrated it into the software which is what Ron Adee & bazlloyd are talking about when they said
"You can also use Custom Properties to control color merging and line overwrite in Autocad 2000."
&
"Use the plot command and select the HP plotter that you want to use. Select Properties, then double-click on Graphics. Select the third option (Merge Control) and make sure the Lines Merge option is selected. I have both versions of the software and i checked to make sure this was accurate info so if you are using AutoCAD 2000 use the HPSETUP.EXE if you have AutoCAD 2000i what they have said is correct
