PLOTTING/PRINTING Problems

PLOTTING/PRINTING Problems

PLOTTING/PRINTING Problems

(OP)
We receintly went to Pro/E 2000i2 and we have run into a few problems.

Problem 1: When Trying to print from time to time we will not be able to. It is usually on drawings and seems totally random. Has anyone else had this problem?

Problem 2: When modifying your config pro file mapkey settings and search paths are duplicated thus providing multiple errors on starting pro/e.

Please help .. these ones are driving me crazy!

RE: PLOTTING/PRINTING Problems

I had the same duplicate config problem. I open config.pro in a text editor and deleted the duplicate lines. Works fine now.

If you edit your config pro through Pro/E after removing the extra lines with a text editor does it add more duplicates?

RE: PLOTTING/PRINTING Problems

Sorry, I just looked back at this post and you are right my config.pro is duplicated again. Now I have to figure out which half to keep. I don't know why this is happening. If it happens again I will call Rand, we do have the maintenance agreement.

RE: PLOTTING/PRINTING Problems

The problem results from pressing the "All" button
instead of the "Changes" when saving the mapkey.

When you use all, you save every mapkey, path, etc.
that is currently loaded in memory.

"Changes", on the other hand only saves what has been
changed and adds it to the end of the config file.
