French drain induced drawdown.

(OP)
Could someone direct me to reseach conducted into or information on evaluating drawdown and zone of infuence of a french drain.  I have volumes of fluid collected from the drain (i.e. pumping rates), and conductivity data and am trying to determine optimum spacing for standpipe piezos for monitoring.

Thanks

Have you ever considered using analytical solution to obtain your answer or alternatively construct a simple two dimenional model to study the drawdown and zone of influence?
