I am trying to design a small lobe pump however I've got stuck on the lobe profile.  Having looked through the previous threads I see that "Pump Handbook" is recommended for such things however I can't get hold of one in time to be of help to me (being quoted 2-4 weeks delivery), so can anyone suggest another way? A website, spreadsheet, formulae or another (more obtainable) book?

Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Lobe profile

look at amazon.com
"Pump Handbook, McGraw-Hill," in the search
ships in 24 hours, fedex available

Aah, forgot to point out my location...

Over here in the UK Amazon are quoting 3 to 4 days, which is just outside of when I need the info (considering it's a Friday)! I probably will order a copy anyway just so I'm prepared for next time.

Thanks anyway for trying.
