Resource string error

Resource string error

(OP)
I am currently using autocadd 2000i and civil design 2i.  Everytime I open, close, or save a drawing, I am getting an error stating, "Cannot find the resource string number '20884' in resource AecArchBase."  I thought this had something to do with proxy graphics, but I have tried everything I could think of to fix this to no avail.  Anybody have any suggestions?

RE: Resource string error

Do you have another autocad product on this machin if it isn't a version of the same type as you have now it will give you those errors like the resource string number

example i can have ADT2i/3 and LDD2i on the same machine but cannot have LDD2 and ADT2i/3 on the same machine and vise versa

I'm pretty sure I deleted every autocadd file from the hard drive and made sure I had the same versions installed...I will double check though.  Thanks for the suggestion!

RE: Resource string error

You may also want to check the registry for dangling entries. These are not always removed during the uninstall procedure.
