Editing problem
Editing problem
(OP)
I was working in my drawing (.slddrw) and all of a sudden I can't change or delete anything. There are a couple of notes that I need to delete. What have I done wrong.

RE: Editing problem
2. Did you insert entities on the general drawing frame instead of into (associated to) a view, or the other way round?
3. Exit, DON'T FILE, Exit SW, reboot and try again.
Those are the 3 most obvious things that come to mind. Well, except for the obvious thing to do - call your VAR and make use of the support YOU ARE PAYING FOR every year.
Good luck.
RE: Editing problem
1. I don't think so. But when I'm in the body of the drawing and not touching any other view the format icon is visable.
2. I inserted a partial section view.
3. What to you mean by "DON'T FILE".

RE: Editing problem
Being able to use views in this manner is benefical, but you just have to watch yourself when adding notes to your drawings.

RE: Editing problem
Heard some rumor of a bug with partial sections on one SP where the boundaries don't work right - anyone out there confirm this?
RE: Editing problem
What does RMB mean. I'm not up with the lingo yet

You mean exit without saving?

Would you mind if I yanked on that cord a few times
You are just jealous because the voices only talk to me.
RE: Editing problem
Using the drawing manager tree, select views one at a time, RMB and lock view focus, and try selecting the offending entitities. Don't forget "lock sheet focus", as well (actually, try the sheet first).
