CNC Tube bender

CNC Tube bender

CNC Tube bender

(OP)
Could someone supply me with names of manufacturers for CNC tube bending equipment? We spend a lot of labour dollars bending hydraulic lines, usually the same configuration over and over again. I'd like to see if it's economical to automate some of this. Material is always 316, always 1/4", bend radius can always be the same, all bends are 90 or 45 degrees.

Hush
Two that come to mind are
Pines
Eaton Leonard.

Company I worked for had one each, the Pines was an older one and the EL was near new...The EL was much more user friendly and I have heard that Pines has gone the way of PRO/e....in other words, we need them more than they need us.

RE: CNC Tube bender

There are many bender manufacturers. The link to the Fabricator is very good. The biggest players are Eaton Leonard ( www.eatonleonard.com ), Addison MacKee ( www.addisonmckee.co.uk/ ), Crippa ( www.crippa.com )... There are also many companies who rebuild old benders. Just be careful about the controller they install. If you need to check your tubes this controller must be able to talk to a measuring table. The tubes are measured with an arm that will send the corrections to the bender automatically. Eaton Leonard  and addison mackee sell their own measuring table. The specialists in articulated arms (portable or on table) are romer ( www.romer-cmm.com ), also called axila in north america ( www.axila.com ).
Their G-Tube software is also sold with the addison mac kee table.
