Equivalence of units in ACI 318M-02

Equivalence of units in ACI 318M-02

Equivalence of units in ACI 318M-02

(OP)

I have the metric version of ACI 318M-02, and I think  there are some mistakes in the change of units. For example, eq. (11-3) Vc= 1/3 (f´c) ½ bw d, in Newtons (N).  The 1999 version gives    Vc= 2 (f´c) ½  bw d   , lb , which  x 1/12   gives   Vc= 1/6 (f´c) ½ bw d   , N.   Since I don´t have the version in american  (english)units, please check this for me . Equally,  in eq. (11-33) the factor should be (1+ 2/ßc) instead of               (1+ 8/ßc),assuming it does not change.    Eq. (11-36) should also be checked.
