(OP)
Hi Freinds!
I have to extend & build a room in a building in which walls are load bearing & foundation is continous step footing under wall. Now i have to extend a room of Solid Block Masonry with plaster. Since the area is of Earthquake zone, i am in doubt how to construct footing for masonry wall without damaging the original one. Can u provide me the solution. i think same further step footing will be OK, But while constriction how to provide the connection between the Old footing & new footing.
