Anyone having a Descriptive Procedure on Stelliting, can you please show me the way?
Thanks

RE: Stelliting

Is stelliting similar to PVD?

RE: Stelliting

Why not check with them directly?  www.stellite.com

By the way, stellite is merely a trade name for a number of processes and materials that they do.

RE: Stelliting

Stellite is normally applied with TIG welding, or spray coatings.  The weld procedure would depend on the thickness and alloy content of the base metal it is being applied to.  You may need to develop your own weld procedures, or hire a contractor.

RE: Stelliting

Stellite is a tradename for CoCr or CrCo alloys used in various applications. I have applied the material with SMAW, GTAW, and OFW. The various grades of stellite will have varying characteristics ad application techniques.
