Formula for number of shaker plates to use in entrance

Formula for number of shaker plates to use in entrance

(OP)
Is there a given formula to figure out the proper length of, or number of shaker plates (corrugated steel plates)that should be used in a stabilized construction entrance?

For example, should the length of the plates be determined by the circumference of the tire crossing it?

Any advice would help. Thanks.

RE: Formula for number of shaker plates to use in entrance

Large stone 6"-12" dia.placed on geotech fabric works real well.
