Need help opening or downgrading an inventor 6 in an inventor 5 or 5.3 series work enviorment, any ideas, i can remotly access an inventor 6 station, but for only a breif time, i cannot physically work on it, but is there an export feature or anything in inventor 6 to downgrade or to export to version 5? please help, very much appreciated!

Don't think you can, but you could try saving it to a third-party format like IGES or STEP?

your best bet is to save-copy-as out of R6 and select SAT files. the result will be "dumb" (no parametric intelligence) unfortunately.

there's nothing else you can do really...
