paper space problems

paper space problems

(OP)
This question stumped the tech support guy today.  I go to paperspace, click on my viewport box and the change the scale with the properties button.  I then would like to shift the drawing around a little so it fits better.  I am still in paperspace and I click the paper/model tab at the bottom.  The image inside the viewport is reduced in size several times when I click the tab.  I then have to repeat myself to get the scale back on again.  does anyone have clue?

RE: paper space problems

I do not know why the zoom changes, but you should be able to lock the viewport in the properties dialog.

RE: paper space problems

After setting the viewport to the proper scale facter, LOCK it using MVIEW->LOCK

I tried locking the view and it works.  However, I need the view unlocked until I get the proper positioning of the model in my viewport.  When I click in the viewport it still reduces everything.  I am starting to think that the file is corrupt.

RE: paper space problems

Check UCSFOLLOW

PS, You can lock the viewport and still modify it's size and shape using grips.
