Software for Tube in Tube in Tube Heat Exchanger

Software for Tube in Tube in Tube Heat Exchanger

(OP)
Hi all,

Yes they exist: Tube in Tube in Tube Heat Exchangers.

The product flows through an annulus and is heated this way from both sides.

Does anybody know/have software available to do calculations on capacity, prodcut outlet temps etc. depending on heating fluid flow and temperature?

Many thanks for suggestions,
MVD

RE: Software for Tube in Tube in Tube Heat Exchanger

the calcs are straightforward for these type exchangers (i.e. Q = m x Cp x dT for both process streams and Q = U x A x LMTD - overall exchanger).  recommend investigating brown fintube or using the www search engines for double pipe exchangers.
