Capacitor Issue - Need Expertise

Capacitor Issue - Need Expertise

Capacitor Issue - Need Expertise

(OP)
I'm replacing some burnt polar capacitors on an amp board that goes to a Bose speaker.  One of these capacitors is a 1 uF 16V but all I have in stock right now is 1 uF 50V.  My question is this, can I use this 1 uF 50V to replace the
1 uF 16V without it affecting performance of the amp?
Thanks for any expertise.

RE: Capacitor Issue - Need Expertise

It depends.  Are they both the same type of cap?

Yes, they are the same kind of cap.  Just different voltage.
