Voltage controlled voltage source

Voltage controlled voltage source

Voltage controlled voltage source

(OP)
Hi:
I need know how to design a voltage controlled voltage source with isolation in current between input and output. The evident solution is to use a transformer, but I´m searching another using semiconductors and circuits elements.
The source is of 50 Hz. Input voltage 40V. Output voltage 40 V. Secondary and primary coils are commmon ground. The enviroment is not hostile. The follower must be 0.1 V accurate.

                      Thanks

RE: Voltage controlled voltage source

How much isolation in current?

Since the transformer voltage ratio is 1:1, the current ratio will likewise be 1:1, i.e., the load current must come from somewhere, e.g., the source.

It sounds like you're actually asking for a buffer amp or possibly an isolation amp.  Perhaps you should do a websearch for these items.

How about using vacuum tubes?

Some sort of power amplifier with negative feedback ?

Why are you guys responding to a 2-yr old thread, whose original poster hasn't logged in 2 yrs?

IRstuff he does this when the tin-can - cat-tail equation is unbalanced.

OK, just checking
