Has anyone heard the status on where Solid Works and Pro E are at with the Pro E translators?  The last I've heard is that they were still in litigation over it.

RE: Pro E Translators

HAvent heard much about the litigation but versions 17 - 20 are still supported

When Solid Works came out with the Beta version, the pitch was that we would now be able to fully translate Pro E files.  This was great, but without Pro E permission.  When the final was released they pulled back on these translators and have since been in litigation with Pro E.  I'm looking to find out if they are ever gonna get these back.  Thanks

RE: Pro E Translators

I will inquire for you about the litigation with my SolidWorks TTM...stay tuned

RE: Pro E Translators

Solidworks and PTC have come to a impass because of the monetary amount that PTC wants SW to pay them per user. I really doubt that anything will happen but a pay per use type deal.

RE: Pro E Translators

hehehe

I wonder what THAT amount would have been!!!

I know it was more than $100 per seat. Know matter if it was educational or not. That would have been a windfall to PTC who is financially strapped currently.
