final answer?

final answer?

final answer?

(OP)
Hello,
MY question is this, what happens when you mix toluene and/or xylene with a small amount of accetone and normal pump gass.(98 unleaded.)

Does it burn faster?
Does it make more preasure/heat?

I am useing this as fuel in a car, if that helps at all.
I have heard many stories and no longer know who to trust.

many thanks

Grogg

RE: final answer?

some of those solvents have been used but have been replaced by more modern formulations. there are still used in fuel cleaning products, but are not always good in excess or continuously.

some modern engines actually run better with the lower grades of gas. it all depends on your engine set up and how the gas is metered into the cylinder charge, etc...
