Anchorage to Concrete according to ACI318/02

Anchorage to Concrete according to ACI318/02

(OP)
There is a design method for anchorage to Concrete in ACI318/02. However, it is only mechanical anchorage.

Does anybody know where is for chemical anchorage?.

What I have ever used is only 0.5 of capacity from mechanical anchorage.

Thank you in advance.

RE: Anchorage to Concrete according to ACI318/02

There isn't one.  Your limited by the manufacturers literature and tensile capacity of the concrete.  I always require random testing of bars (drilled and grouted) when I use them and only use them in direct tension in an emergency.

Be careful with the allowable loads/stresses vs ultimate or yield stresses terminology.
