Someone I know had an 8' heigh foundation poured and now wants to go to nine feet heigh. What's the best way to bond the new 1' concrete section to the existing foundation? Does anybody know of any reference materials related to this problem?

Thanks,

John

RE: Concrete foundation

This rather depends on what the footing is designed to do.  is it reinforced?  Is it a pad footing ? A strip footing? A pilecap?

Need more info I'm afraid
