Engineers, I have bought a chiller 30GXN of Carrier, I want to know if the chillers of this model Carrier has their fans prepared against noise, or this is an option to buy additionally.

RE: 30GX Carrier

Hello,
When you say a 30GXN chiller, the 'N' would normally refer to a high ambient version (used in the middle east), and this would have extra large fans fitted.  If you can give me the full Carrier model number, I can tell you what fans are fitted and if any options are available.

Cheers,

Cooky

Dear Cooky the MODEL NUMBER is 30GXN080-AE6--KA
ARFAN

RE: 30GX Carrier

Arfan,

That sounds like an American built unit (there is also a manufacturing facility in Europe).  If it is, then an option exists to reduce compressor noise / hail guard, it is called option 14.

It could also have the Motormaster III low ambient kit fitted, which will vary the speed of the lead fan.

If you need prices and details, contact your local Carrier represenative, as I am based in the UK.

Cheers,

Cooky.
