Pipe Modeling Software

Pipe Modeling Software

Pipe Modeling Software

(OP)
I am researching software that will assist me in the modeling of pipe systems within the plant.  Our systems include chilled water, natural gas, process (cooling tower) water, potable water, and compressed air.  I need to assess availble plant capacity and delivery (pressure).  Does anyone know of a good modeling software.  I have hired A/E consultants that have used ChemCAD.  Their results looked good and I am considering purchasing one license but I would like to look at alternate software platforms that are comparable to ChemCAD.

Thanks,

RE: Pipe Modeling Software

You should check out a package called "Cadworx". It is a wonderful package.

RE: Pipe Modeling Software

Inventor 8, which has just come out, has a pipe designer built in. Worth a look.
Also try Quick Pen.
