Can somebody tell me how can I recover parts from a corrupted model file?
The problem I have is that when I try to open the model file, I-Deas crash down and the error message I get is from Unix, reason being : "Segmentation violation" !
Thanks!

RE: I-deas V5 - Files recovery

Just an idea:

May be the mf* file was created in other system. So you should do the next:
First step: You shoud go back to the operating system where the model was created.
Check in to library the model file and then use library export!
Now you can import the file to PC or Unix also!

Best regards,

Irwin
