Would there be any problem in using stabilized n-Propyl Bromide and Genetron 141b where there is a chance they could come in contact with one another. Would there a compatability problem?
They would never be poured together. One part of a product could be coated with silicone using stabilized nPB while another part of the same product is coated with silicone using Genetron 141b. The two parts of the product will be in contact with one another.
We are talking about very, very small amounts of material, less than 0.24 mg/square centimeter.

Chemically, they are both halon hydrocarbons and both agressive solvents, nPB maybe a little more agressive and a little faster dryer. I have read nPB as being more comparable to trichloroethane.
Since 141b is no longer produced, the problem should only be a temporary one until the 141b containing product is used up.
