fast switching emitter and detector

I have a question.  Does anybody know a fast switching LED and Photodiode (ultraviolet)on the market.  rise and fall time should be less than ~10ns and it should be as stable as possible (for different temperatures etc...).  I'm looking on the internet, but can't find anything useful for my application.
Thank you for your help

RE: fast switching emitter and detector

Why does it need to be ultraviolet?

The reason why I need UV is for my circuit not to interfere with other infrared light and visible light...

RE: fast switching emitter and detector

UV leds are difficult to come by much less something with speed. The physics are the problem. The energy band for UV is quite high and thus the foward voltage is also high. Most couplers use IR.
