patterning offsets

(OP)
Hi,
I am into modeling swirlers and turbines. I would like to know how to pattern components that are created using offset command.I have tried to pattern, but I was not sucessful. I think the problem lies in the surface that I choose to offset, because it is considered as a reference.
Please do help.

RE: patterning offsets

Using datums on the fly for the first component (or feature in part mode) gives you the best possibility to pattern components, or features, because you'll be able to use some dimensions as reference for paterning.
