materials in mass properties analysis

(OP)
Hello,

In ASSEMBLY -> ANALYSIS -> MASS PROPERTIES menu of mechanical desktop (this has been the same on version 2, 3, and 4), I would like to add some different materials like titanium or ABS plastic.  How can I do this?  I know all of the properties, can I edit a file somewhere?  Please help!

Thanks

RE: materials in mass properties analysis

This was never documented well.

Find the file mcad.mat from "programme files /autocad 14 / desktop / support" or similar.  Drag and drop it into Notepad and there is some help text and the materials list you're after.  Just add extra material definitions to the list.  You don't need to restart Desktop.
