Autocad LT 2000 Plotting Problem

Autocad LT 2000 Plotting Problem

Autocad LT 2000 Plotting Problem

(OP)
Each time I try to plot a drawing a message appears to tell me that my printer details are unknown and a plot device of none has been allocated.  I then have to enter all necessary print parameters to make a successful plot.
On trying further repeat plots whilst still in the same drawing I find the plot details have not been retained and have to be reinserted.
In tools/start/options I have ticked save previous plot details.
I have installed my plotter as a system printer using plotter manager wizard.  My plotter is also my default windows printer.
It is extremely time consuming having to enter every print parameter each time I need to plot.. grateful for any advice

RE: Autocad LT 2000 Plotting Problem

I don't know if LT is the same as regular ACAD but take a look. Make sure the "Save changes to layout" checkbox is checked in the Plot/Print dialog box. This saves all of the settings (printer, paper size, etc).

RE: Autocad LT 2000 Plotting Problem

Save the plot settings as a page setup, the add button is in the top right hand corner of the plot dialogue box
