Can anyone help me on what software to use in a power plant?
i.e. from database, monitoring performance software, MIS software, SIS?

For power system monitoring and analysis, try ETAP Powerstation: www.etap.com.

ETAP is good for electrical type of info.
EtaPRO is good for electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc.
I use both, EtaPRO beats ETAP period.

Do you use PI system along with it and some other MIS software on top of Etapro?
