Drafting Standards

Drafting Standards

Drafting Standards

(OP)
Where can I tweak the initial drafting standards;
exemple, I want to add to the ISO standards a paper format that is not normaly part of it.(e.g. want to add a XX format YYmm x ZZmm).
OR
as another exemple I want to start in ISO STDs but using the third angle projection.
The XML files dont give acces to these kinds of settings.

RE: Drafting Standards

To edit the xml files, you need to be administrator. That is start Catia up as administrator.

RE: Drafting Standards

I have tried this. Log on as administrator snd fire up catia. I still get grayed out boxes in my standards. I cannot figure out how to get the gray boxes to edit.
Anyone have a suggestion?

RE: Drafting Standards

bterp,

Did you logged in as administrator or did you launched Catia in admin mode (w/ -admin option)?

If you started Catia in admin mode check permissions of directory where your standards are stored.
